Have you ever heard this phrase? If not, you most likely have heard something similar. Whether it is a quick quote, published book, or motivational video, we all have learned the importance of teamwork.

In real estate, teamwork is especially important. Like I have discussed in previous blogs, the buying and selling of real estate is not an overnight process. It not only takes time and effort, it takes collaboration. In this blog, we are not going to dive into all of the crucial contacts for buying or selling your home. Rather, I want to talk about essential team members that are outside of your area. Specifically, I want to address if you are relocating to another state and are struggling to find a trusted realtor or lender. Moving can be stressful for most people. Moving can be very stressful if you are relocating outside of the state you currently live in. On top of all that stress with coordinating the move, it may be even more difficult to find assistance if you are not familar with the area or do not have friends/family that can give you helpful referrals. 

Most people think that realtors can only help them before they buy/sell a home and during the process of being under contract. However, as your realtor, I do not want it to be transactional. Rather, I want you to be able to reach out to me whenever you need to. Whether it is 20 minutes after closing or 20 years after, I strive to create lifelong relationships with my clients. Part of that relationship is understanding that we are a team and I can give trusted referrals for other team members. As a licensed Indiana realtor, I can only use my license within the state. Although I have those limits, my company at Real has realtors in nearly every state, often some of the top producing agents in their respected areas (One of the many advantages of working at Real!!!) I can refer you to a realtor in Florida, California, or even right across the state line in Ohio. 

Buying or selling a home is a major investment and often is the biggest investment of your life.
